Educational Needs (SEN)

As a nursery, we believe that every child is unique and deserves an environment that caters to their individual needs. We are committed to providing the best possible care and support for all children, including those with Special Educational Needs (SEN).

At Coat of Many Colours, we recognize that children with SEN require extra attention and support to help them thrive. We work closely with parents and professionals to identify and understand the specific needs of each child, and then tailor our approach to ensure they receive the appropriate support.

Our experienced and highly trained staff are dedicated to creating an inclusive environment that welcomes children of all abilities. We use a range of teaching methods and resources to engage children with SEN and help them achieve their full potential.

We also offer a range of specialist services, including one-to-one support, speech and language therapy, and Attention Hillingdon to ensure that children with SEN receive the additional support they need. Our SEN Coordinator works closely with families and external professionals to develop Individual Education Plans (IEPs) for children with SEN, ensuring that their needs are met and progress is tracked.

We are committed to promoting positive attitudes towards children with SEN and creating a supportive and welcoming environment for all children and their families. We believe that by working in partnership with families and professionals, we can provide the best possible care and support for children with SEN, and help them to achieve their full potential.
