Our fabulous nursery

Established over 13 years ago and we have a wonderful team of Early Years practitioners with a wealth of experience in providing inspirational fun, education and care for all the children.

The nursery is situated in a beautiful landmark building offering indoor/outdoor play in a safe and cosy environment. We want children to have wonderful and inspiring learning experiences whilst in our care, so when it’s time to take the next step in the journey of education and life, they take with them lovely memories of their time with us.

Little blessings

(3 months -2 years)

A wonderfully calm and relaxing room for our babies, with space to crawl and explore, new sights and sounds to stimulate the senses, and a cosy corner to cuddle in. Being in our Little Buds room offers under 2s the perfect place to begin their nursery journey.

Growing Feet

(2-3 years)

Connected to their pre-school cousins in Young Eagles, the toddlers in Growing Feet have space to toddle, play and learn in a vibrant and fun room. With lots of creative and messy resources, songs, stories and rhymes to encourage communication, with free flow access to outdoor every day. And when it’s nap time the children can settle in the soft area and comfortably dream about their next big adventure.

The young eagles

(3-5 years)

Being almost ready for school is serious stuff, but at Coat of many Colours we believe it’s important that learning should be fun. So, with carefully planned and structured activities that promote reading, writing, maths and science, children are learning as they play. The Young Eagles room is designed to cover all areas of learning from free flow to outdoor learning to the classroom-based activities in readiness for the next step into school.

BREAKFAST AND AFTERSCHOOL CLUB SESSIONS

Breakfast Club

Children get dropped off by parents any time from the start of the session.  This is typically 7:30am but please refer to the times of your particular club.

At the end of the session children are dropped off in school by a designated member of staff at their school drop off point.

After School Club

Children are collected or dropped to the nursery by carers or member of staff.

Children are able to go outside as soon as possible each day (normally once everyone is registered and the playground has cleared).  Children are able to flow between the indoor and outdoor area.  Children can freely play outside, taking advantage of the school facilities including adventure play areas where they are available.  There is also equipment such as skipping ropes and sports equipment, as well as go karts and scooters at some clubs too.

Parents can pick up at any time up until 6pm.  All children must be signed out by an adult over 16 who is named on that child’s registration form.

In our After School Clubs, we pride ourselves in delivering a fun, happy and safe place for children to freely play with their friends, take part in activities, art and craft, sport, chill out or enjoy the variety of toys and games available.
The club is set up to provide a fun and stimulating environment when the child arrives. There are activities such as Lego, puzzles, toys and board games so children can start playing straight away.

RECENT TESTIMONIAL

Although Meja's left for school almost a month ago, I still get lovely messages and "how is she doing" every time I pick up the little one. People are quick to complain and correct and ask... and it's within human nature and it helps to grow. However, my sincere happiness and peace of mind when I leave my child in your good hands, also seeing evident signs of how much she enjoys it (and how much Meja used to enjoy) is my biggest compliment to you. Best wishes
Ingrida
I am so pleased with the service I've experienced at CMC. I have been to quite a few nurseries in the local area and can confidently say this is the best one by far! They are sold out to providing excellent childcare and are very considerate and professional in dealing with parents and staff. Keep up the great work!

I would like to thank all the baby room staff at the Coat of Many Colours Nursery, Uxbridge. I have just spent one week at home with my 16 month old as I am on annual leave and I am amazed at the things I have seen him do. He says 'thank you' each time he is given something, counts 1-10, says 'sit down' each time he takes a seat and he sings a range of nursery rhymes. I am really pleased. Thank you all for your hard work!
